Plan with friends using the lesgooo ChatGPT plugin

Tell ChatGPT what you want to organize. lesgooo turns the request into a shared plan with dates, places, an Event, a checklist and costs. Your friends join through one link, without a lesgooo account.

What is the lesgooo ChatGPT plugin?

lesgooo is a group planner you can use from a conversation. Instead of copying a suggested itinerary into another app, you can ask the assistant to create a real shared plan and save the details there. The same plan opens on the web, so your friends can take part without using AI.

ChatGPT interprets your request and calls lesgooo tools through MCP, the Model Context Protocol. lesgooo saves supported changes and returns the plan link and current state. In compatible ChatGPT and Codex hosts, an interactive planner lets you view and edit the same five modules inside the host. If that interface is unavailable, the web link remains the way to open the plan.

This is a lesgooo integration for ChatGPT and Codex, not a product made by or endorsed by OpenAI.

Five things you can do from chat

  • Find a date with When. Add all-day availability or exact free hours, remove periods that no longer work and compare common windows. A popular date can contain different, non-overlapping hours; check the actual times before agreeing on an Event.
  • Choose a place with Where. Suggest a specific venue, find matching Google Maps results and vote for a saved place. If several venues match, the assistant should ask which one you mean. Manual places or links are an alternative when a suitable result is unavailable.
  • Set up the Event. Save an agreed date, local time and location, then record your own attendance response. Event is the tab name; RSVP means answering whether you are coming.
  • Build a shared checklist. Turn a packing list or dinner shopping list into individual checkable rows. Add, finish or update the relevant item without combining several tasks into one checkbox.
  • Track shared costs with Splitwise. Record who paid, the amount and currency, and who shares the expense. Read balances and record repayments that have already happened. The plugin never transfers money.

Start a plan: a practical example

Once the plugin is connected in your host, mention lesgooo and give a clear first request. For example:

“Use lesgooo to create a plan called Cabin weekend. I’m Alex. In Europe/Prague, mark me free on the next Saturday and Sunday. Add Bring sleeping bags and Buy groceries as separate checklist items.”

The assistant can create the plan, save Alex’s availability and add two separate checklist rows. It should confirm the result with the actual saved link. Review the resolved dates: saying your timezone or exact dates helps avoid confusion around “next weekend”.

You do not need to provide every detail upfront. If you start with “Mark me free next weekend”, the assistant can complete the supported action in a new plan and then ask for your name or the event title if those are missing. You can also fill these in directly in the planner.

Find a time, not just a day

Some plans need a whole weekend; others need one shared evening. In the planner, use Days for all-day answers and Days + Time for specific free hours. The same answers are available through chat and on the web.

“I’m Alex. In Europe/Prague, add that I’m free on 14 November 2026 from 18:00 to 20:00. Keep my other availability.”

Then ask “Which hours overlap?” The assistant can read actual common windows, rather than treat any response on Saturday as an all-day yes. Include your timezone when giving hours or relative dates; if it is unclear, the assistant should ask before saving. The browser view uses the device’s local time. This is not automatic Google or Outlook calendar sync.

Availability helps the group decide. It does not set the Event date or answer anyone’s RSVP. Once you agree, ask separately to save the chosen Event details. Read the step-by-step guide to find a time that works for everyone.

Share the link; friends do not need a plugin

Copy the saved plan link and send it to your group yourself. Friends open it in a browser, choose or add their name, and respond. They do not need a lesgooo account, a ChatGPT account or the plugin. You need access to ChatGPT or another supported host only if you choose to plan through AI.

Everyone uses the same underlying plan. A change saved through chat is visible on the website, and a friend’s web response can be read by the assistant when it fetches the current plan. A chat summary is a snapshot; ask for an update before relying on an old response.

lesgooo does not send invitations just because it generated a share link. You decide who receives it.

Continue an existing plan without starting over

Paste the saved lesgooo link into a conversation and say what you need. These are examples to adapt, not links to real events:

  • “Open our lesgooo link and summarize the best dates, suggested places, open tasks and shared costs.”
  • “I’m the existing participant Alex. Add Sunday to my available days; keep my other dates.”
  • “I’m new to this plan. Add me as Sam and mark me free on 14 November 2026.”
  • “Add Café Louvre on Národní in Prague and vote for it as me.”
  • “Mark Buy groceries as done, then show the checklist.”
  • “We agreed on 14 November 2026 at 18:00 in Europe/Prague. Set the Event and RSVP yes for me.”
  • “I paid 600 CZK for dinner. Split it equally between Alex, Sam and me.”

If the assistant does not know who you are, it should ask whether you are an existing participant or someone new. Your role as organizer, or being the only person listed, does not automatically establish your identity. Similar or duplicate names may need clarification.

In some hosts, selecting your name in the planner does not reliably pass that selection back into chat. The simple fallback is to include the saved plan link and your participant name in the request. You should not need to copy any technical tokens.

Useful follow-ups, without taking over

After saving a change, the assistant can offer one short next step: share the link, replace a default event name, add an overlooked packing item, or turn an agreed date into Event details. It should use your conversational language and keep the response brief.

A suggestion is not permission to make another change. “Would you like to set the Event for Saturday?” should not silently become a confirmed event. Ask for no suggestions if you prefer just the result.

What it does not do

lesgooo is not a booking service, bank or automatic messenger. It cannot reserve a restaurant, buy tickets, transfer money, send invitations to friends, or run background reminders. It does not automatically synchronize your Google or Outlook calendar. A future repayment should not be marked paid.

Use the shared plan for ordinary coordination, not passwords, payment-card details, medical records or other sensitive information. Access is based on the plan link rather than authenticated accounts: anyone who has the link can view and participate in the plan. Choosing a name is not identity verification. See the privacy policy and terms of use for details.

How to get started

Open the lesgooo plugin listing, or look for lesgooo in the plugin directory available in your ChatGPT or Codex host. Open its listing, follow the host’s add/connect flow and enable it for the conversation where you want to plan. The planner-opening action may be shown as lesgooo planner.

Exact menus and supported features depend on your account, workspace and host. Check OpenAI’s plugin help for the current installation flow. You can also start a plan on the web or read the assistant examples and FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

What is the plugin called in ChatGPT?

Search for lesgooo in your host’s plugin directory. The action that opens the interactive planner may appear as lesgooo planner.

Do my friends need ChatGPT or a lesgooo account?

No. Friends can open the saved plan link in a browser, choose or add their name, and participate without either account or the plugin.

Can ChatGPT change an existing lesgooo plan?

Yes. Supply the saved plan link and your name, then request a supported action. If identity is unclear, the assistant should ask whether you are an existing participant or joining as someone new.

Can it send money or book a restaurant?

No. It records shared expenses and repayments already made, and helps groups choose places. It does not transfer money, make bookings or send invitations.

Is using lesgooo through ChatGPT free?

lesgooo does not require a paid account to create or join a plan. Access to ChatGPT, Codex and their plugin features is governed separately by OpenAI’s plans, availability and usage limits.

Is the plugin the same as the lesgooo MCP server?

The plugin packages lesgooo’s planning tools and instructions for supported hosts. The remote MCP server provides those tools; the web app gives the group a shared interface and a browser fallback.

Can I add exact free hours through ChatGPT?

Yes. Say your name, the saved plan link, the date, your free hours and your timezone. The assistant can add or remove exact windows and compare common availability. Days + Time shows the same saved answers in the planner. Free hours do not automatically confirm an Event or an RSVP.

Prefer to plan yourself?

The app works the same without an assistant — one link, no signup.
